Well, it looks like it’s going to be a busy day of training. I was suppose to do my VO2max bike test today, but I think I’ll pass for now, as it’s a very demanding test, and I still have to go swimming afterwards. Therefore on the agenda today:
6:30 PM – Bike Training:
- 5 min warmup
- 14 x 30 secs @ 160-170 HR, 30 secs rest (14 mins total)
- 16 mins @ 120-135 HR
- 2 x 2 min @ 145-155 HR, 30 secs rest (5 mins)
- 5 min cooldown
7:45 PM – Swim Training:
- 5 min warmup/stretchs (thread water, kicks)
- 4 x 25m Kicks w/ fins (100m) (15 secs rest)
- 4 x 25m Pulls (100m) (15 secs rest)
- 8 x 25m Freestyle (200m) (30 secs rest)
- 2 x 25m Back Balance w/kick & fins (TI exercise) (50m)
- 5 min cooldown
I think this is going to be tough, but that’s what it’s all about, right? 😉
